It’s leaking. Water under the sink, not in the bowl.

Standing water in the sink is a jam. Water on the cabinet floor is a leak. Find the joint before you buy parts.

Flange

Drip where the disposal meets the sink. The mounting ring is loose or the flange gasket is cooked. Tighten the three mounting screws evenly, or reseat the gasket. Dry the joint and run water. If it still weeps, replace the gasket — not the whole unit.

Dishwasher hose

Drip at the side inlet. The clamp is loose or the hose is split. Kill power. Slide the clamp, inspect the hose, replace it if it is cracked. A side leak is not a cracked housing.

Cracked housing

Wet on the body, not at a joint. Hairline on the drum, drip from the bottom seam that is not the reset button. That is a replace. Do not epoxy a disposal. A body leak will not hold.
